HARTFORD, Conn. – Freshman pitcher Erin Hanley of Bowdoin College was named the co-Rookie of the Year by New England Small College Athletic Conference Thursday.

Hanley posted a 5-1 record and 0.67 ERA with 47 strikeouts in 52 innings. She shared the rookie honor with Gina Schibner of Amherst College.

Bowdoin’s Kristie Miller and Katie Sheridan earned NESCAC first-team honors and Colby’s Kim Chadwick and Bates’ Laura Lent and Krissie Whiting received second-team honors.
