The St. Joseph Hospital Laboratory in Bangor has been named national laboratory of the year by Advance Magazine, a national publication for medical laboratory professionals. The award is based on “exemplary teamwork and several successful interdisciplinary performance improvement projects,” an article in the April 16 issue said. Hospital lab manager Marilyn Kenyon said, “This makes us all very proud of our work and the fact that we always strive to maintain and improve quality care for our patients.”
