I am maddened beyond belief that the execution date of self-confessed and convicted mass-murder Timothy McVeigh has been postponed. The Oklahoma City bomb went off on schedule. The federal government is concerned about the protection of “Mr. McVeigh’s” rights.
What about the rights of his 168 deceased victims (not to mention those maimed and scarred but still living the nightmare)? “Mr. McVeigh” now may use the time to “consider his options.” How many options were his victims permitted to consider? And the final indignity to this whole spectacle: He’ll now have to “suffer the anguish of saying goodbye to his family and friends AGAIN”!
His murdered victims never got to say goodbye to anyone, at all. Give me a constitutional break. This is justice?
