Hermon High School

HERMON – Graduation exercises for Hermon High School will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, June 8, at the Bangor Auditorium.

Tyra Woodard, daughter of Doug and Polly Woodard of Etna, has the highest four-year academic average. She is a member of the National Honor Society and received the Maine Principals’ Association Award for 2001. She has been active in track, stage band, One-Act Play, Key Club, yearbook, student council, Students First, Civil Rights Team, Spanish club and band. She will attend the University of Maine to study foreign languages.

Stephanie Schreiber, daughter of Carl and Nancy Schreiber of Hermon, holds the second-highest academic average. She is a member of the National Honor Society and has taken part in cross country, track, Key Club, yearbook, band and Spanish club. She will attend Dickinson College to study foreign languages.
