Jay High School

JAY – Graduation exercises will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 10, at the Jay High School gymnasium. Ryan Richards is valedictorian and Karyn Labbe is salutatorian.

Richards was on the high honor roll all four years, holds the highest average in advanced geometry, sophomore year; highest average in advanced algebra II, sophomore year; and highest average in advanced precalculus, junior year. He is a National Honor Society member, received scholar athlete awards all four years, received varsity letters in golf and baseball two years, received the Maine Scholars Achievement Award, the Bausch & Lomb Science Award, and was chosen to attend Dirigo Boys State during his junior year.

He is class marshal for graduation.

Labbe is a member of the National Honor Society, jazz band, student council, math team, Big Brother/Big Sister program, and is a volunteer for the Special Olympics.
