JONESPORT – Katie Frost pitched a five-hitter and the Calais softball team took advantage of seven Jonesport-Beals miscues to capture the Downeast Athletic Conference championship with a 6-3 victory Wednesday. Kari Redding had three singles and Frost singled twice to lead the Blue Devils.

Abby Alley had two singles and drove in two runs while Chelsea Carver doubled for the Royalettes.
