Mount View High School, Thorndike

Mount View High School Principal Barbara Adams has announced the honors parts and graduation activities for the Class of 2001. Graduation will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at the Mount View High School gymnasium.

Valedictorian Logan Feeney, son of Julie and John Feeney of Knox, is active in the National Honor Society and Civil Rights Team, and has been a class officer. He is a member of the varsity soccer team and was chosen for the All Academic Team in baseball. He is active in the community as a Farm Team baseball coach and is a member of the Knox Boosters Club.

Salutatorian Emily Cochrane, daughter of Jeanne and Paul Cochrane of Waldo, is a member of Chamber Singers, National Honor Society and Civil Rights Team. She has been a member of the Student Council, math team, German-American Partnership Program and has been a class officer. Cochrane played varsity basketball and varsity soccer, and was chosen as a member of the All Academic Team in soccer.
