DEXTER – The Wayside Theatre is holding auditions for a local production of Thornton Wilder’s play “Our Town” as part of the Town of Dexter Bicentennial Celebration. Performances will be on various dates from Aug. 17-31.

Auditions will be held on the second floor of the Dexter Town Hall 7-10 p.m., June 11-13. Callbacks will be June 14-15.

Those auditioning should prepare to present a one-minute monologue of their choice and are asked to bring a copy of performance credits and a recent photo, if available. Pictures will be taken the night of auditions, if one is not supplied.

Director Sean Fiddler will select the cast of 19 men, seven women (all ages), two boys and three girls between the ages of 11 and 16, and various townspeople. Auditions are open to everyone in all towns.
