I found it ironic that in the same paper that had columns by Kent Ward and Tom Weber discussing editors’ errors in newspapers, the article, “Area homes benefit from Maine-Tain Work” (BDN, June 9-10), contained this gem:

“Ten homes were selected throughout the state to improve the houses of families with low incomes, the elderly or those with disabilities from June 4 to June 8.”

It sounds as if 10 homes will be leaving their foundations to go to work on other houses, some of which are owned by people with disabilities lasting only four days.

An interesting concept.
