The story you ran on June 11, “Bikers taint scene of multiple-cycle crash,” appears to be a case of “that’s what I was told, so that’s what I’m going to print” journalism by Brenda Seekins.
I saw no removal of evidence and there was no complications during the investigation except by a few of the people who were not there when it happened.
What happened? An accident. And it doesn’t matter what kind of motorcycle anybody was riding.
The Hells Angels motorcycle club, not gang, acted with professionalism and compassion getting help on the way for those who were hurt, controlled traffic so as not to create a bigger problem and offered a safe place to keep Rebecca Miller’s motorcycle until it could be picked up.
