PORTLAND – Maine native and Norwich Navigators manager Stump Merrill will be the featured speaker at the Sea Dogs’ monthly luncheon. Merrill, who grew up in Brunswick and attended the University of Maine, managed the New York Yankees in 1990 and 1991. His baseball career included six seasons as a minor league catcher and many years as a manger in the Yankee’s system.

The luncheon will take place on June 20 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Picnic Area of Hadlock Field. The luncheon is open to the public. Tickets are $8 and are available at the door. The media is also invited.
