PATTEN – The Katahdin Valley Health Center will receive a $110,000 guaranteed loan from the United States Department of Agriculture, U.S. Sens. Olympia J. Snowe and Susan M. Collins announced this week.

The center plans to use the low-interest loan to upgrade facilities and to purchase more efficient computer software. The low-interest loan is funded under the USDA’s Rural Development Program.
