HERMON – Aaron St. Peter passed John Phippen Jr. on a restart with 14 laps to go in the 35 lap Pro Stock Maine event for the win at Speedway 95 Saturday night.

Jamie Watson of Gouldsboro picked up third place while Scott Modery of Stetson and Dwayne Overlock of Surry finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

Pinkham nips McKeage for win

At Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough on Saturday, David Pinkham of Buxton raced around Gorham’s Dan McKeage with only 12 laps remaining in the 40 lap Late Model Pro Series feature. McKeage led the event from the drop of the green flag only to have Pinkham take advantage of the late race caution to grab the lead.

McKeage finished in the second spot as Steve Berry Jr. of Gorham picked up third and Bobby Babb of Windham nabbed the fourth spot. Barrington’s Bobby Gahan crossed the line in fifth.

Paluga earns double victories

At Winterport Dragway, Joe Paluga of Bar Harbor took home two victories Sunday.

He beat out Russell Dwelley of Waite in the money race, and earned a win in the pro eliminator event, beating out Terry Czosnek and Rockland and Hampden’s Paul Goodness.
