Maine Public Broadcasting Corp. has received $400,000 to produce a prime-time television series titled “School Zones” along with online content.

A low-interest Community Facility Direct Loan of $300,000 has been approved for the Penobscot Nation. The funding will help cover the cost of demolishing two tribal office buildings. A new community center is taking the place of the old buildings.
