WASHINGTON – The Army has awarded a contract totaling $12.4 million for weapons production at General Dynamics Armament Systems in Saco, according to U.S. Sen. Olympia J. Snowe.
“This is great news for General Dynamics Armament Systems,” said Snowe, “and builds on the company’s well-deserved reputation for high-quality workmanship. This contract demonstrates the Army’s continued high level of confidence in the plant and the superior quality of the weapons produced by the men and women who work there.”
