PORTLAND – Righthander James Dawson hurled a three-hitter, striking out six and walking two, and Tyler Delorme belted two homers as Yankee Ford upended Worcester Peat 10-0 Wednesday in a Twilight League game called after eight innings due to the 10-run rule.
Delorme hit a three-run shot and a solo homer; Shaun McKenna and Andrew Hanson added solo homers and Billy O’Brien had three singles and two RBIs. McKenna also had a single.
Seth Cole, Rick McDonald and Aaron Largay had singles for Worcester Peat.
