BREWER – Chris McHale’s run-scoring single snapped a 1-1 tie in the three-run third inning and Brian Sullivan added a two-run single later in the inning to lead the Brewer Falcons to a 5-1 American Legion baseball victory over the Sebasticook Storm Thursday night.

Lefty Chad Gomm pitched six innings of two-hit, one-run ball to pick up the win. McHale pitched a perfect seventh.

Joel Barrett had two doubles for the winners and Sullivan had two singles.

Steve Kennedy and Jake Laselle had singles for Sebasticook.

At Calais, Jacob Lowell blasted a home run to go with two singles, driving three runs, as the Acadians prevailed.

Chad Smith had three singles and an RBI for Trenton, and John Gray added two singles and a run batted in.

Cliff Urquhart, Steve Colbath and Doug Adams all hit solo homers for the Suns.
