A veterans service officer from the Department of Defense, Veterans and Emergency Management will be in central Maine locations to assist veterans, widows and their dependents in filing for state and federal benefits. The service officer will be at the Millinocket District Court Office from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, July 5, and at the Lincoln District Court Office from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, July 12 and 26.
