NEWPORT – Chad Smith blasted a solo homer to go with two singles as Trenton posted a 20-10 American Legion baseball win over Sebasticook on Thursday.

Mike Cowperthwaite had a pair of RBI singles for the winners. Josh Gray hit a pair of singles and drove in three runs, and Hans Reuter hit a pair of doubles.

Steve Kennedy had three singles, a double, and knocked in three runs for the Storm. Jake LaSelle had two singles and two RBIs. Dave Henderson hit an RBI double.

At Brewer, Kyle Dalton struck out 11 batters in six innings of work and Adam Freeman added four singles and two RBIs as Brewer prevailed.

Joel Barrett added a double and a single for Brewer while Brian Sullivan singled twice and Justin Spencer tripled.

Pasco Grove and Chris Carman each singled and drove in a run for Waldo.
