Extension open house in Somerset County

SKOWHEGAN – The Somerset County Cooperative Extension on Norridgewock Avenue will hold an open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 21, to showcase the many programs, activities and resources that are available to residents.

Educational materials, informational displays and exhibits highlighting programs will be available, and extension staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions. Demonstrations, activities and miniworkshops will be held on topics including parenting, gardening, nutrition and cooking, and 4H-youth development.
