OLD TOWN – Old Town-Orono rolled over Sebasticook Valley in both games of a Saturday doubleheader, 8-2 and 9-6. In game one, Brad Wheaton pitched a three-hitter with six strikeouts while Roger Cole ripped a two-RBI single and Brian Tewhey doubled for Old Town-Orono.

OLD TOWN – Old Town-Orono rolled over Sebasticook Valley in both games of a Saturday doubleheader, 8-2 and 9-6.

In game one, Brad Wheaton pitched a three-hitter with six strikeouts while Roger Cole ripped a two-RBI single and Brian Tewhey doubled for Old Town-Orono.

Justin Veazie and Eric Saucier each singled with and RBI for Sebasticook.

In game two, Sean Tidwell ripped an three-run double in the sixth inning for Old Town-Orono while Ryan Levesque doubled and singled with two RBIs and Brad Goody nailed a two-run double.

Justin Veazie led the Sebasticook attack with a home run and a double with two RBIs as both Eric Saucier and Dave Henderson added two singles.

Trenton sweeps in doubleheader

At Ellsworth Saturday, Trenton rolled over Waldo County in both games of a doubleheader, 10-4 and 6-4.

In game one, Derek Awalt cracked a double and a single for Trenton while Mike Cowperthwaite and Josh Gray each singled twice.

Ben Relyea led the Waldo County with a double and a single with an RBI as Devin Potvin belted two singles with two RBIs.

In game two, Mike Cowperthwaite struck out 10 for Trenton as Derek Awalt ripped a triple, a double, and a single with five RBIs and Jacob Lowell belted an RBI single.

Ben Relyea tallied a double and a single as Pasco Grove singled twice with two RBIs for Waldo.
