Coastal and Bucksport will battle for the District 1 title in Junior League baseball action today at Bucksport High School after Coastal defeated Bucksport Monday 10-6.
The teams (ages 13-14) will play at 4:30 p.m. at the Bucksport High School field.
Meanwhile, in District 3, the Brewer and Orono-Veazie juniors advanced to an elimination round with Monday victories as Brewer ousted Holbrook 16-4 and Orono-Veazie eliminated Lincoln 7-4.
Brewer will play Orono-Veazie Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Mansfield Stadium in Bangor.

At Bucksport, Harrison Hines’ two-run single highlighted a five-run second inning that opened the scoring for Coastal of Blue Hill.
Hines finished with two singles and four RBIs. Nick Ciomei added two singles, and Blake Wessel had a single and two RBIs. Dan Hilts struck out four while picking up the win.
Forest Wardwell laced a pair of singles and had two RBIs, Cory Cushing posted two singles, and Nye Gifford and Derrick Warren each had a single and an RBI.

At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor, a seven-run inning on just -three hits in the sixth helped Brewer put the game away and eliminate Holbrook in the District 3 Junior League tournament.
Kevin McAvoy fueled the rally with a three-run double. Andrew Patterson scattered seven hits on the mound and drove in two runs on three hits from the plate. Ben Davis doubled twice and singled to drive in a run. Ryan Babin had a double, single and three RBIs.
Mike Tardiff led Holbrook with a double, single and RBI. Sean Snyder also doubled and singled.

Duston Thomas drove in two runs with a double to tie the game in the sixth and Nick Payson’s single drove home the go-ahead run.
Nathan Faulstick and John Dudley each hit three singles while Payson and Tony Raymond each had a pair.
Cory Kimball singled twice to pace Lincoln.

At Bar Harbor Sunday, Sunrise starter Coby Tucker pitched a one-hitter through four innings in the mercy rule-shortened game while striking out six batters and walking none.
Mickey Manning hit a three-run double in the first to get things rolling and Sam Stuart finished with two singles and an RBI.
Sunrise took advantage of 11 Acadian errors to stay unbeaten in the District 1 Minor League baseball tournament.
Peter Worrick’s single in the fourth broke up the no-hit bid.
