COCOA BEACH, Fla. – The Maine Icebreakers AAU boys 13-and-under basketball team lost for the first time at the National Invitational Tournament Monday. Maine fell to the Bowie Ballcats of Maryland 74-54.

Travis Brooker of Island Falls topped the Icebreakers with 27 points while Mark Socoby of Houlton added 14. The Icebreakers, now 1-1, play the Burlington Bulls of North Carolina today in the final game of pool play. The championship round is scheduled to start Wednesday.
