PRESQUE ISLE – The Maine Potato Board will be host for the annual Industry Dinner at 5:30 p.m. Friday, July 20, during Aroostook County’s annual Maine Potato Blossom Festival. The dinner is part of the annual festivities of the weeklong celebration of Maine’s potato industry held during the third week of July in Fort Fairfield.
This year’s industry dinner speaker, Tim O’Connor, CEO of the National Potato Promotion, will discuss issues facing potato farmers all over the country. Hundreds are expected to attend this year’s event at the Kendall Shaw potato house.
