Way to go, Officer Ellis

Recently, my daughter was involved in a minor traffic accident. Thank God there were no injuries and only limited damage to the vehicles involved.

Understandably my daughter was upset and phoned me at work; I arrived at the scene of the accident shortly thereafter. The responding officer was Lawrence Ellis.

I am compelled to write this letter encouraging you to commend Officer Ellis for his exemplary display of courtesy, patience and professionalism toward both parties involved in this incident.

Officer Ellis is a credit to the Bangor Police Department and to his profession in general. He should be recognized and rewarded for a job well done.
