Moeller takes feature race for Wiscasset win Green in second, Taylor in third

WISCASSET – Alan Moeller of Dresden held off the field to earn a win in the 100-lap super limited feature auto race at Wiscasset Raceway Saturday.

Pole sitter Jason Taylor of Appleton led the first 17 laps but Moeller overtook him in the 18th. Taylor finished third and Mark Green of Bath was second. Winterport’s Fred Brown earned fourth place and Stephen Swanson of Trenton was fifth.

Raven wins despite Unity spinout

At Unity, Bub Raven worked through a spinout at turn three and charged from the back of the pack to claim his first pro stock victory in the feature race Saturday at Unity Raceway.

Pat Thibodeau was second and Matt Lee finished in third.

Young wins at Winterport

At Winterport Dragway on Sunday, Greg Young led the last 10 laps of the Super Pro Eliminator division to take the win.

Craig Cousins of Hermon crossed the finish line in second, while Wait’s Russell Dwelley took the third.

Pung gains first 95 feature win

At Hermon, Greg Pung of Bar Harbor grabbed the lead from pole sitter Ikey Dore of Addison during the early laps of the Strictly Street feature and went on to win at Speedway 95.

Dore was second and current points leader Mike Thayer of Hudson was third. Prospect’s Darren Moody and Hermon’s Alex Shaw were fourth and fifth, respectively.
