CUMBERLAND – Shawn Warren captured his second straight title Wednesday in the Maine Junior Amateur Championship at Val Halla Golf Club. Warren, 16 and from The Woodlands, defeated Blake Eldridge in the finals 2 and 1 in the ages 15-17 division.
Warren advanced by beating Colin Read of Samoset Resort 5 and 4 while Eldridge, representing Springbrook, defeated Jeff Bouchard of Hampden 3 and 2.
Mack Duke of Samoset won the title in the 13-14 division when he defeated Cameron Burgess of Bath 5 and 4. Duke advanced by beating Ron Kelton of Riverside 2 and 1 and Burgess defeated Brian Fasulo of Sable Oaks 5 and 4.
Michael Amato of Blue Hill beat Jeffrey Cole of York to win the 12-and-under division.
