AUGUSTA -Hunters wishing to hunt deer of either sex this upcoming season are reminded that their any-deer permit applications must be postmarked no later than Wednesday or be received at the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife headquarters by 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Hunters must have a current hunting license and can apply only once to be eligible. Applications are available from most license agents and all regional headquarters and offices of the Fisheries and Wildlife Department and at www.mefishwildlfe.com.
