Mary Rogan, with over 20 years of banking experience, has earned a promotion at Bangor Savings Bank. She will be the branch manager at Hogan Road in Bangor.

Katahdin Trust Co. has promoted Diane Clough to senior vice president, bank operations. Clough will continue many of the responsibilities she had as vice president of bank operations, a position she assumed in 1997, when she joined the bank. She has more than 30 years’ banking experience.

Albert L. Hobbs has been named senior vice president and treasurer of Katahdin Trust Co. His responsibilities include funds management, accounting, financial reporting and analysis, and liquidity and asset-liability management. He joined the company as vice president in January 1996 after nearly three decades in banking.

Greg McCarthy, a senior consulting manager with Berry, Dunn, McNeil & Parker’s Management and Information Technology Consulting Group, based in Portland, has been elected president of the New England chapter of the Healthcare Information and Management and Systems Society. HIMSS provides leadership in health care for the management of technology, information and change through publications, educational opportunities and member services.

Jeffrey Raub, M.D., has joined St. Joseph Hospital in Bangor as medical director of the emergency department. Raub graduated from Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia and served his residency at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa. He is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Gerald Shencavitz is the new chief financial officer and chief operating officer for Bar Harbor Bankshares and its subsidiaries. He joined the company in 1998 and served as senior vice president of operations and information systems. In his current role he will manage the company’s financial, operational and technological functions.

Woodard and Curran, an environmental consulting firm in Bangor, has promoted Sarah Nicholson to project manager. She assists in regulatory compliance issues, work plan development, and implementation for solid waste and environmental permitting projects.

Dana A. Doran will coordinate Central Maine Power Co.’s economic development activities. Doran has held positions in both the state and federal governments. He worked at both the U.S. and Maine Departments of Labor and in the office of former U.S. Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell.
