SIDNEY – A crash in Sidney killed a local woman and a woman from Arizona on Thursday, authorities said. A westbound box truck traveling on Town Farm Road failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Middle Road, the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Department said. The box truck collided with a pickup truck with an extended cab that was heading north on Middle Road.

The pickup truck rolled before landing in a ditch, and a passenger was ejected from the vehicle.
