HODGDON – Pearl Ryder notched an unassisted goal with nine minutes left to help the Limestone Eagles edge the Hodgdon Hawks 2-1 in schoolgirl soccer action Friday.
It was Limestone’s opener.
Melissa St. Pierre had previously scored on a penalty kick. Goalie Nikki Michaud stopped 13 of 17 shots for the Eagles.
Megan Beals had tied the game in the second half for Hodgdon. Amanda Fitzpatrick made 19 saves on 23 shots for the 1-2 Hawks.
Central Aroostook 3, Warriors 0
At Mars Hill, Gabrielle Smith paced 3-1 Central Aroostook with a goal and two assists.
Stevi Fletcher and Jocelyn Carvell netted a goal apiece. Fletcher also had an assist. Chantal Gagnon stopped seven of 11 shots for the Panthers of Mars Hill.
Crystal Cameron recorded seven saves on 16 shots for the 0-1 Warriors of Southern Aroostook.
Ashland 4, Wisdom 0
At St. Agatha, senior Amanda Martin notched three goals to carry Ashland to its second victory of the season.
Serena Collins followed up with a goal, Beth Chamberlain assisted on two goals, and Jessica Jacques assisted on one. Goalkeeper Kim Oakes stopped seven of nine shots for the 2-0 Hornets.
Shannon Berube made 10 saves on 15 shots for the 1-3 Pioneers of St. Agatha.

At Mars Hill, Lance Bradstreet scored a pair of goals and Jeff Clockedile had a goal and two assists to pace Central Aroostook.
Arlie Wiggins and Andy Grivois also scored while Adam Crew and Jonathan Boyd combined for seven saves on 11 shots for the 2-2 Panthers.
Jeff Boutilier made 17 saves on 30 shots for the 0-1 Southern Aroostook Warriors of Dyer Brook.
Limestone 6, Hodgdon 0
At Hodgdon, Christian Beck led Limestone with three goals and two assists.
Andrew Pelletier followed up with two goals, and Ben Dow netted a goal. Goalie Erick Crook stopped two of three shots for the 1-0 Eagles.
Adam Hogan recorded 13 saves on 30 shots for 0-3 Hodgdon.
Madawaska 3, Houlton 0
At Madawaska, Marc Garcia netted two goals to lead 3-0 Madawaska to victory.
Jesse Morin followed up with an unassisted goal, and Alex Daigle offered an assist. Steve Soucy stopped five of six shots for the Owls.
James Skehan recorded 12 saves on 16 shots for 1-2 Houlton.
Ashland 3, Wisdom 2
At St. Agatha, Alan Oakes scored with 4:03 remaining to give Ashland the win. Bruce Oakes offered up the winning assist.
Brock Bessey scored earlier in the second half to tie the game for Ashland. Jim Dwyer also netted a goal. Randy Junkins recorded four saves on 18 shots for the 1-1 Hornets. Eric Hamm had an assist.
Andrew Gervais and Tyler Thibeault netted a goal apiece for 1-3 Wisdom. Kenny Corriveau made two saves on nine shots for the Pioneers. Dustin Lugdon and Aaron Gervais had assists.
