The picture in today’s issue of the little girl and the reluctant dog at the dog show at Bass Park shows a real “moment of truth” (BDN, August 11). The intelligent dog has decided that anyone with an ounce of common sense should know better than to do unnecessary labor in 90-degree weather. What a wise little dog. The show must have been an earth-shakingly important one.
