Gervais’ 3 goals pace Wisdom

EASTON – Andrew Gervais scored all three goals and his twin brother Aaron set up two of the scores as Wisdom posted a 3-1 schoolboy soccer win over Easton on Wednesday.

Kenny Corriveau stopped eight of the 14 shots for 2-4 Wisdom of St. Agatha.

Paul Warren scored the lone goal for 1-3-1 Easton. Kyle Wells made seven saves on 14 shots.

Washburn 3, Limestone 1

At Limestone, Trevor Thibodeau and Isaac Carney each scored a goal and had the assist on the other’s goal to lead the Beavers to the win.

Jim Bugbee chipped in with another score for 3-3-1 Washburn. Seth Milton had an assist and Jessie Maynard made 11 saves on 17 shots.

Christian Beck tallied the Eagles’ goal off an assist from Neil Lettenberger. Eric Crook stopped four of the 12 shots he faced for 1-2 Limestone.

Girls soccer

Madawaska 1, Fort Kent 1 (2OT)

At Fort Kent, the Warriors and Eagles battled to a 1-1 tie.

Kristine Cyr had an unassisted goal for 2-0-1 Madawaska. Megan Marshall turned away 13 of 27 shots

Fort Kent’s loan goal was scored by Jackie Masse and assisted by Meghan Minsy. Heather Hartman rejected 11 of 18 shots.

Caribou 2, Houlton 0

At Houlton, Lindsay Burlock scored the game’s only two goals as the Vikings improved to 1-1.

Leah Drew stopped two of three shots. For 1-2 Houlton, Anna Lenentine turned aside three of six shots.

Limestone 4, Washburn 3

At Limestone, Ashley Brooker and Susie Johnson each had two goals to lead the 2-1 Eagles to victory.

Nikki Michaud turned back 10 of 16 shots for the winners

Amber Blakney, Anna Ouellette and Carrie McLaughlin scored for the 1-4-1 Beavers. Morgan Sickles stopped five of 11 shots.
