KeyCorp has named Charles “Chuck” D. Osgood to a new position as market president for northern and eastern Maine. He will be based in Bangor. Steven L. Gagnon, senior vice president of corporate banking, has been named market leader for the Presque Isle area and will report to Osgood. The move underscores northern and eastern Maine’s importance to Key’s Maine district and Maine’s strategic importance overall to Key, said Kathryn G. Underwood, president of the Maine district. Effective Sept. 4, Osgood will be responsible as market president for Key’s expanding financial services activities in that part of the state, which includes offices in Brewer, Ellsworth, Lincoln, Millinocket, Newport, Presque Isle, Caribou, Houlton and Madawaska, among others. Osgood has more than 25 years of banking experience, all in northern Maine. He comes to Key from United Kingfield Bank, where he was a senior vice president and senior loan officer. Before that, Osgood was at Fleet Bank in Bangor, where he was a team leader and commercial loan officer. Osgood began his financial services career with the commercial banking area of Casco Northern Bank-Bank of Boston, also in Bangor. Gagnon has been with Key since 1978 and held a variety of positions. Most recently he was senior vice president and senior banker in corporate banking.
