BANGOR – The Incubator Without Walls project, an initiative to help start and expand businesses with five or fewer employees, begins its next course in September.

Incubator members participate in eight three-hour classes covering the basics of running a small business.

Participants receive marketing assistance, individual counseling and coaching, and access to scholarships and loans. Guest speakers from the local business community are often invited to classes, providing networking opportunities.

Applications for the course are due Sept. 5. The course is free for members.
