PRESQUE ISLE Nick Casavant scored two goals to lead undefeated Presque Isle to a 2-1 schoolboy soccer win over Houlton on Saturday.

Luke Blackstone and Ben Lynch assisted on the goals for 4-0 Presque Isle. Sophomore Ben Sirois made his varsity starting debut in goal, making four saves on nine shots. Standout senior goalie Ben Clark is sidelined after injuring his wrist in a game against Fort Kent.

Dan Sussman scored an unassisted goal for the 1-4 Shiretowners. James Skehan made six saves on 17 shots.

Girls Soccer

Wisdom 2, Fort Fairfield 1

At St. Agatha, Michelle Bourgoin scored an unassisted goal, helping give 4-3 Wisdom the win.

Josee Chamberland scored on an assist from Christa Lizotte while Shannon Berube made nine saves on 12 shots.

Britteny Guiou scored unassisted for Fort Fairfield while Dani Searles stopped 12 of 27 shots.
