In the story, “Organic blueberries sprayed in error” (BDN, Aug. 21), it is distressing to see that the owner of Maine Helicopter, a company that makes aerial applications of pesticides on Maine farm land, is still on the state’s Board of Pesticides Control.
Let’s hope in the next election that Mainers elect a greener governor who will keep the pesticide applicators off the boards that regulate the pesticides.
