PRESQUE ISLE – The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Upward Bound program is recruiting a sophomore class.

Upward Bound is a college preparatory program that helps high school students become prepared for college.

The free program includes academic advising, tutoring, travel and cultural experience. The summer component includes a six-week residential experience at the UMPI campus, where students live in a college residence hall and participate in academic and elective classes, and a work experience program.
