Scott Dewitt and Keith Patterson became the first players in the 11-year history of the MSGA Two-Man Championship to become three-time winners of the event Wednesday at Prouts Neck Country Club.
The pair combined for a 68 on Wednesday’s final round and a 36-hole total of 131. That was six strokes better than the team of Mark Plummer and Dave Brewer who have won the tourney twice.
The final round featured nine holes of better ball and modified alternate shot on the back nine.
