The course is designed for anyone interested in preparing for the FAA written exam to pilot a private plane. The course also includes four major components: introduction to flying, basic aircraft operations, cross country and weather. Students must be able to read, write and understand the English language. Knowledge of science and math is helpful but not necessary, and no prior knowledge of aviation is required.
