Why in the world haven’t we put bulletproof bulkheads between the pilots and the passengers? This would be inexpensive compared to what we have at hand. We need to separate these pilots by a door that can only be opened from the inside with a fail-safe trigger from the ground by maybe the FAA or the ground control. If this simple solution is done, the would-be hijackers would know this is an airline standard, and you won’t have these hijackings.
