Rood wins Sport 4 feature at Unity

UNITY – Willie Rood rallied from the back of the field Saturday to earn the victory in the Sport 4 feature at Unity Raceway.

Rood dedicated the victory to his father, Ernest, who is battling cancer.

Steve Rackcliff and Brian Sweatt placed second and third, respectively.

Raymond best in Big Rig

At Winterport Dragway Sunday, Bob Raymond of Epping, N.H., out-dueled Chip Randall of Glenburn for top honors in the fourth Paul Bunyan Big Rig Race.
