CARRABASSETT VALLEY – Sugarloaf/USA has been ranked third best resort in the east by Ski magazine in their 14th Annual Resort Guide, additionally the resort was awarded gold medals for terrain, challenge, service and family programs, silver medals for snow grooming value, lodging, dining and Apr’es-Ski.
The resort was also nationally ranked seventh for service and eighth for terrain.
Lani Taply, who has been teaching at the resort for more 15 years, was listed in the Resort Guide as one of the top 100 instructors in North America.
