HERMON – Monica Willey knocked in two goals to power the Bangor field hockey team to a 3-2 victory over Hermon Tuesday in high school action.
Courtney Smith scored a goal and had an assist for the 2-4 Rams while Frankee Waldron and Allison Frazier combined for five saves on eight shots.
For the 2-4 Hawks, Erica Joy and Erin Lucey each scored with assists from Lindsey Guerette while Natalie Bell face five shots and stopped two.

Central 1, Stearns 1 (2OT)
At East Corinth, Laura Bragdon of Stearns of Millinocket notched an unassisted score with 10:37 remaining in the second half to tie the game and end the scoring.
For the 3-1-2 Minutemen, Becca Saucier turned away 17 of 18 shots.
Jody Harvey converted a Casey Davis pass for the 4-1-1 Red Devils. Cindy Dehm stopped eight of nine shots.

Hampden 5, Brewer 0
At Brewer, Sarah Peters scored two goals and had an assist, helping give 3-3 Hampden the win.
Christy Mosley also had two goals while Whitney Briden added a goal. Katherine Lumino recorded two assists while Aly Lumino had one and Jen Hessert made 11 saves on 16 shots.
For 0-6 Brewer, Jorgelina Norjean faced 14 shots and stopped 11.
Boys soccer
Highview Chr. 9, Chop Point 1
At Woolwich, Nick Waite scored five goals and J.D. Starostin contributed two goals and two assists to power visiting Highview Christian of Charleston to its third win against one loss.
Chop Point is now 0-4.
David Day had goal and an assist; Anthony Kneeland had a goal and Adam Cooper notched an assist for the winners and Gordon Lovell made eight saves on 18 shots.
Billy Eberhart scored for Chop Point and Tim Richter made 15 saves on 43 shots.
Girls soccer
Brewer 1, Nokomis 0
At Brewer, Sandra DeFilipp scored the winning goal on a pass from Melissa Jacobs 3:47 into the second half.
Stephanie Dickey made 12 saves on 16 shots for the 2-3 Witches.
Aimee Paradis stopped 10 of 17 shots for 3-2 Nokomis of Newport.
Penquis 2, Schenck 1
At East Millinocket, April Allen scored two goals, including the game-winner with 5:25 to play, lifting Penquis of Milo to victory.
Shannon Gerrish and Megan Russell assisted on the Allen goals. Ashley Pelletier made six saves on eight shots for the 5-1 Patriots.
Sarah Gordon scored an unassisted goal for 2-3 Schenck. Beth Chasse made 16 saves on 19 shots.
Orono 2, Hermon 0
At Hermon, goalies Joelle Clingerman and Marie Lint combined for five saves on six shots as the Red Riots blanked the Hawks.
Kaylee Westhoven and Kati Glencross each scored a goal for 2-3-1 Orono. Molly Dupere and Alicia Nelson added an assist apiece.
Shannon Dobbins made seven saves on 10 shots for 1-5 Hermon.

At Blue Hill, Sarah Clapp led George Stevens Academy with four goals and an assist.
Anastasia Osage had two goals and an assist while Kerri Driscoll scored and had two assists. Sara Patterson scored two goals while Sarah Kilch and Liz Tyler combined to stop five of 15 shots for the 5-1-1 Eagles.
For 2-5 Penobscot Valley of Howland, Kylie McGinn made 15 saves on 27 shots.
Deer Isle-Stonington 2, Central 1
At Deer Isle Monday, Hollan Oliver scored the winning goal, unassisted, for the 1-4 Mariners.
Molly McDonnell scored with an assist from Oliver while Roz Santospago made 14 saves on 19 shots.
Jamie Lawrence scored with an assist from Nicole Richards for Central of Corinth while Nicole Daniel stopped 22 of 32 shots.
Ban. Christian 4, DI-Stonington 1
At Deer Isle, Danielle Miller scored a pair of goals and Kendil Snow made 10 saves as Bangor Christian picked up its first win after three losses and a tie.
Heather Niles and Monique Veilleux had the other goals and Emily Jenkins, Niles and Becky Fortier had assists.
Molly McDonnell scored for 1-5 Deer Isle-Stonington and Hollan Oliver assisted. Roz Santospago made 25 saves.
Hampden 2, Bangor 0
At Hampden, Kim Stephenson and Tyne Franchi tallied goals and the Hampden defense held Bangor without a shot as the Broncos remained perfect at 6-0.
Amanda Shaw assisted Franchi’s goal and Emmy Russell earned the win in goal for the Broncos.
For the 3-3 Rams, Katherine Miller turned back five of 11 shots.

At Corinth, Erika Kaufman scored on a breakaway with 12 seconds left in regulation to lift the Ponies to the win.
Darcy McCormick made two saves on three shots for 1-4 Foxcroft Academy.
Nicole Daniel stopped five of 17 shots for the 1-5 Red Riots.
Bucksport 3, Searsport 0
At Bucksport, Jana Richards saved all 10 of the Vikings’ shots to lead the Golden Bucks to a shutout win.
Jessie Taylor tallied two goals and an assist for Bucksport. Nichole Pacheco added a goal and an assist. Alice Andrews and Elissa Gordon chipped in with an assist apiece.
Misty Hall stopped 12 of 23 shots for Searsport.
