ROCKPORT – Samoset Resort Golf Club will host a tournament to benefit the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund on Wednesday.

The entire $75 entry fee will go to the fund as well as any money raised from special contests. The entry fee includes golf, cart, prizes, and awards ceremony. The individual stroke play event is open to both men and women with gross and net prizes for each. Prizes are being donated by companies such as Titleist, Callaway and Foot-Joy.

Samoset Director of Golf Chris Christie said organizers hope to raise $15,000.

Tee times can be reserved for any time between 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. The awards ceremony and check presentation follow at 7 p.m.
