On Friday, buses will be made available for students wishing to pay their respects to Walsh at St. John’s Catholic Church at 207 York Street in Bangor. Buses will leave Memorial Union Circle at 2 p.m., 3 p.m., and 4 p.m.
A memorial event is being planned for 7 p.m., Oct. 12, at Alfond Arena. The program is open to the public and will be designed to be a celebration of Walsh’s life. Arrangements for the program are still being finalized.
