HOULTON – The Houlton Shiretowners improved to 7-3-2 with a 3-0 schoolgirl soccer victory over the Schenck Wolverines Monday.

Sarah Beasley and Hannah Socoby each had a goal and an assist for Houlton. Tamra Goodrich added a goal while Anna Lenentine stopped five of five shots.

Beth Chasse made 10 saves on 15 shots for 4-6-0 Schenck of East Millinocket.

Lee 11, Southern Aroostook 1

At Lee, Deidra Ham scored four goals and had three assists, helping lead 11-0 Lee Academy to victory.

Shelby Pickering contributed two goals and five assists while Ashley Gifford and Jenny Stevens each had two goals. Melissa Hanscom added a goal while Cherish Rollins and Jessica Raymond each recorded assists. Katie Harris made six save on eight shots.

Mindy Watson scored unassisted for 1-10 Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook while Crystal Cameron faced 30 shots and made 14 saves.

Fort Kent 3, Caribou 1

At Caribou, Jackie Masse led Fort Kent with a goal and two assists.

Becca Soucy and Meghan Minzy each added goals and Heather Hartman made three saves on seven shots for the winners.

Lindsay Burlock scored with an assist from Jen Gallant and Leah Drew stopped nine of 20 shots for Caribou.

Nokomis 3, Hermon 2

At Newport, Tina Turner scored what would be the game-winning goal on a penalty kick for Nokomis.

Danielle Clark scored two unassisted goals while Sara Lowe made eight saves on 10 shots for the 5-5 Warriors.

Alisa Peterello scored unassisted for 1-8-1 Hermon while Ashley Hichborn scored on a pass from Amanda Higgins. Shannon Wiggin stopped 18 of 34 shots.

Searsport 3, Penquis 2

At Searsport, Nicole Shute scored from about five yards out with 2:11 left after Jessica Larrabee’s direct kick to give the Vikings the victory.

Larrabee also scored off a Jessica Plourde assist and Coleen Narofsky converted a pass from Jessica Wilson, who returned after missing five games due to a knee injury. Mo Hall made nine saves on 17 shots for 8-2-1 Searsport.

April Allen scored two unassisted goals for the 6-4-1 Patriots of Milo and Ashley Pelletier made 12 saves on 24 shots.

Foxcroft 1, Dexter 1

At Dover-Foxcroft, Darcy McCormick made 10 saves for Foxcroft and Daphne Robichaud had seven for Dexter to help preserve the double-overtime tie.

Becky Michaud scored an unassisted first-half goal for 2-7-2 Foxcroft and Tiffany Wintle scored off a Sarah Turner pass in the second half for 6-4-1 Dexter.

Dexter outshot Foxcroft 17-8.

Averill 1, Highview Christian 0

At Charleston, Brittany Rausher’s unassisted goal seven minutes into the game gave Averill of Hinckley the victory.

Sally Jenkins made 16 saves on 18 shots for Averill and Sherry Cooper had 13 on 18 for Highview Christian Academy.

Hampden 2, Orono 1 (OT)

At Hampden, Jani Bosse’s goal 2:40 into overtime kept the Hampden Academy Broncos unbeaten and untied as they won their 11th game of the season.

Bosse scored after Katie Lindemann brought the ball up the left side, got the goalie to come out on her, and then slid the ball over to Bosse on the right, who drilled it into the middle of the net before the keeper could get back. Amanda Shaw scored the first goal unassisted for Hampden and Emmy Russell had no saves on three Orono shots.

Molly Dupere scored the only goal for the 5-4-3 Red Riots while Joelle Clingerman and Marie Lint combined to make five saves on 10 shots.

JV: Hampden 9-0

Belfast 2, Oak Hill 0

At Belfast, Rosie Hughes scored on a pass from Emily Biscone, helping give the 8-2-1 Lions the win.

Gillian Brundage added an unassisted goal while Emily Worth stopped three of three shots.

Anglea Berube made 18 saves on 20 shots for 1-7-1 Oak Hill of Sabattus.

MDI 4, George Stevens 0

At Mount Desert, Alisha Boisvert and Jennifer O’Donnell each scored unassisted goals as the Trojans posted their first victory.

Kara Morton scored with an assist from Alyssa Watson while Emma Pope-Welch scored on a pass from Tanya Kane. Sarah Johnson stopped 10 of 14 shots for 1-9-1 MDI.

Sarah Kilch and Liz Tyler combined for eight saves on 16 shots for George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill.

Boys soccer

Calais 7, Woodland 1

At Woodland, Andy Frost scored three goals, two unassisted, and had an assist, leading Calais to the win.

Adam Pollock and Russ McLean each added unassisted goals while Scott MacDonald scored and Doug Connolly added an assist. Nathan Pelletier made six saves on 10 shots.

Andrew Scott scored for Woodland and Kevin Worster made 33 saves on 46 shots.

Jonesport-Beals 2, Lubec 1

At Lubec, Troy Alley scored two goals, the second with 1:43 left in the game, to lift the Royals to victory.

Jason Dyer assisted on the winning goal and Ben Durkee set up Alley’s first goal with about 26 minutes left in the game. Abraham Beal made 20 saves on 22 shots.

Noah Buehner scored off a Jason Mallar pass four minutes into the second half for Lubec. Jordan Paul made 28 saves on 30 shots.

Shead 1, Machias 1

At Eastport, Austin Roberts scored an unassisted goal with 3:40 left in the first half, helping Machias remain unbeaten by earning a double-overtime tie against Shead.

Ben Maloney scored unassisted, for the 6-4-1 Tigers with 12 minutes left in the first half. Darrin Constant made 18 saves on 22 shots.

Marcus Frutchey made eight saves on 12 shots for the 10-0-1 Bulldogs.

Washington Acad. 4, ‘Guagus 1

At East Machias, Juan Cabau had two goals and an assist to lead the Washington Academy Raiders to the win over Narraguagus of Harrington.

For the 7-2-1 Raiders, Matt Gibson and Whitney Stevens each scored a goal. Jason Labonte made one save on four shots.

Derek LaPointe scored unassisted for the 4-8 Knights while Eric Pelletier finished with 15 saves on 23 shots.

Mount View 4, Lincoln Acad. 1

At Thorndike, Ryan Donovan scored one goal and assisted on another to help the Mustangs improve to 8-3-1.

Mark Soisson, Morey Hallett, and Matt Neves each added a goal for the winners while Rick Malady notched two assists and Marc McCorrison one. Dan Pellerin made eight saves on 26 shots.

Brian Elwell scored off an assist from Kyle Benner for 5-7 Lincoln Academy of Newcastle and Ryan Ball made 10 saves on 24 shots.

Carrabec 5, Jay 3

At North Anson, Jackson Hunt scored two goals and assisted on another as the Cobras downed the Tigers.

Trey Gaw, Kyle Metivier and Ed Yahn also had goals for 7-2-2 Carrabec and John Chretien saved four of seven shots.

Corey McDonald had a goal and an assist and Chris Brooks and Dana Armand scored goals for 1-8-1 Jay. Jacob Turner stopped 12 of 19 shots.

Averill 3, Highview Christian 2

At Charleston, John Cartier scored the winning goal unassisted for 3-6 Averill with two minutes remaining in the game.

Joey Morrisetti scored two goals while Joe Gallagher had an assist for the Beavers of Hinckley. Gerard Levesque made nine saves on 18 shots.

Nick Waite and J.D. Starostin each scored goals for Highview Christian and Aaron Waite added an assist. Gordon Lovell stopped 15 of 23 shots for the 3-4 Knights.

Greenville 2, Richmond 1

At Richmond, Jonathan Ethier scored both goals for 9-0-2 Greenville and Gregory Aucoin made 16 saves on 24 shots.

Eric Scribelith scored with an assist from Jason Cray and Steve Wilbur stopped 11 of 16 shots for 3-3 Richmond.

Bangor Christian 9, Searsport 2

At Bangor, Matt Conley had three goals and two assists while Ben Sobey also scored three goals to lead the Bangor Christian Patriots to the win.

Kliton Xhemali chipped in with two goals and two assists and Chase Ossinger had a goal and two assists for the 6-4-1 Patriots. D.J. McLeary saved 11 of 14 shots.

Josh McFarlin and Ryan Shute each scored a goal for the 3-7-2 Vikings. Jacob Manner made 15 saves on 33 shots.
