MACHIAS – Chris Correll scored two goals Wednesday to help the Machias Bulldogs remain unbeaten with a 4-1 schoolboy soccer victory over Lubec.

Joe Richards and Jeremy Drake scored one goal each for 11-0-1 Machias, with Erik Smith and Brian Frutchey notching assists. Marcus Frutchey made one save on three shots.

Cody Scoville scored for 2-9 Lubec on an assist from Jason Mallar. Jordan Hall made 15 saves on 25 shots.

Ashland 2, Southern Aroostook 1

At Ashland, Allan O’Clair and Bruce Oakes scored first-half goals 71/2 minutes apart, leading the Hornets to victory.

Brock Bessey took the corner kick to set up both tallies. Randy Junkins made five saves on eight shots for 7-5-1 Ashland.

Jarred Grant scored on an Evan McGary assist for 4-8-1 Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook. Jeff Boutilier made 11 saves on 16 shots.

WA Raiders 9, Woodland 0

At East Machias, Matt Gibson and Whitney Stevens each booted three goals as the Raiders rolled over the Dragons.

Jared Gray notched a goal and two assists for the 8-2-1 Raiders. Steve Kamseu had a goal and an assist, and Sam Hostetter added a goal. Barrett Craven made six saves on eight shots.

Kevin Worster stopped 20 of 30 shots for 0-11-1 Woodland.

Foxcroft 1, Dexter 0

At Dexter, Manuel Blanc’s second-half goal lifted the Ponies’ record to 8-4.

Matt Hackett stopped 11 of 22 shots for Foxcroft. Brian Hersey rejected 14 of 21 for the 5-6-1 Tigers.

Penquis 4, Schenck 1

At East Millinocket, Justin Allen knocked in two goals as the Patriots of Milo prevailed.

Steve Kissell and Kevin Nason added a goal each for the winners. Mike Grindle made 11 saves on 22 shots.

Seth Johnston provided the Wolverines’ goal. Mike Rossignol rejected 11 of 16 shots.

Camden Hills 3, Mount View 0

At Camden, Jason Laurita scored off an assist from goaltender Will Dennen, who blanked the Mustangs of Thorndike, stopping 10 of 12 shots.

Shean Hall and Damon Massey added a goal each for 10-1-1 Camden Hills. Derek O’Brien had an assist.

Dan Pellerin made 12 saves on 18 shots for 8-4-1 Mount View.

Islesboro 5, Vinalhaven 1

At Lincolnville, Jonathan Bolduc scored two goals and assisted on another to propel the Eagles to victory.

Gavin Harkins notched a goal and two assists for 6-1 Islesboro. Ben Roberts and Patrick Knight scored once each, with Joel Grindle adding an assist. Rory Diffin made 10 saves on 17 shots.

Josh Doughty scored an unassisted goal for 0-7 Vinalhaven. Josh Myler made 15 saves while facing 30 shots.

Belfast 4, Oak Hill 0

At Belfast, Caleb Barnaby knocked in three goals to help the Lions blank the Raiders of Sabattus.

Matt Olsen had two assists, including one on a goal by Aaron Cross. Steve Matlock added an assist for Belfast and Chris Abbott got the shutout, rejecting five of 11 shots.

John Daggett turned back 16 of 35 shots for 0-10-1 Oak Hill.

Searsport 4, Bucksport 3

At Bucksport, Drew Mercier scored three goals as the Vikings edged the Golden Bucks.

Ryan Skated added a goal and an assist for the winners. Jacob Magnes made 20 saves on 35 shots.

Adam Bourgon notched two goals and Caleb Grindle had two assists for Bucksport. James Booth added a goal and Trevor Stevens rejected 23 of 34 shots.

Hermon 1, Orono 0

At Hermon, Reid Frye scored off a direct kick, which Orono netminder Mike Merritt initially stopped, but Frye banged home the rebound, with just under 30 minutes left.

Matt Watson stopped all seven shots he faced for 6-5-1 Hermon.

For the 1-11-2 Red Riots, Merritt turned back 13 of 14 shots.

Woodland 5, WA Raiders 1

At Woodland, Alicia Vose tallied two goals and an assist to power the Dragons.

Erica Brown and Katie Smith scored a goal each for 6-5 Woodland. Kaitlyn Leeman added a goal and assist, and Beth Covey stopped one of three shots.

Ashley Day provided the goal for the 0-11 Raiders of East Machias. Emily Mawhinney rejected 26 of 36 shots.

Hampden 6, Caribou 0

At Hampden, Katie Lindemann and Kim Stephenson each scored twice as Hampden held Caribou without a shot on net.

Alex Hudspeth and Laura Martin added a goal each for the 12-0 Broncos. Emmy Russell and Gabby Schrage split time in net.

Leah Drew turned back 13 of 26 shots for the 2-10 Vikings.

Brandi Crandall stopped 15 of 30 shots for the 0-13 Warriors.

At Dover-Foxcroft, Tina Turner scored on a penalty kick with three minutes left to lift the Warriors of Newport to the win.

Meghan Burnett notched two goals for the winners. Michelle Murray added a goal, and Sara Lowe made eight saves on 12 shots.

Erica Kaufmann notched two goals for the Ponies. Christina Kurzius added a goal and an assist, Leslie Nelson added an assist, and Darcy McCormick made 12 saves on 20 shots.

Mount View 4, Camden Hills 2

At Thorndike, Amy Delano knocked in two goals to lead the Mustangs to their sixth win (6-5-2). Camden Hills falls to 5-6-1.

Anne Mathieson had a goal and an assist for the winners. Violette Soisson notched a goal and two assists, and Danielle Mayer made three saves on six shots.

Nesli Orhon had a goal plus an assist for the Windjammers. Claire Neville chipped in a goal, and Olivia Mitchell stopped six of 10 shots.

George Stevens 3, Ellsworth 1

At Blue Hill, George Stevens Academy’s Eagles scored three times in the first seven and a half minutes of the second half to erase a 1-0 deficit and improve to 8-4-1.

Bethany Roberts tied the game off an Anastasia Osage pass; Osage broke the tie two minutes later off a Sarah Clapp assist and Clapp scored the clincher off a direct free kick. Sarah Kilch made nine saves on 17 shots as George Stevens avenged an earlier 1-0 loss.

Sarah Silsby was credited with the Ellsworth goal although it went off a GSA defender. Victoria Jones made 10 saves on 16 shots for 6-3-3 Ellsworth.

Belfast 1, Oak Hill 0

At Sabattus, Audrey Jarrett’s 25-yard shot four minutes into the second half and Emily Worth’s seven saves enabled Belfast to improve to 9-2-1.

Megan McDonald made 10 saves on 16 shots for 2-8-1 Oak Hill.

Sumner 7, DI-S Mariners 1

At East Sullivan, Liz Brunton smashed home six goals as the Tigers soared.

Ellen Beattie notched a goal for 4-6-1 Sumner. Meghan Ruhlin added an assist, and Hillary Page rejected six of 13 shots.

Hollan Oliver scored for the 1-9-1 Mariners. Roz Santaspago rejected seven of 21 shots.

Old Town 0, John Bapst 0

At Old Town, the Indians and Crusaders of Bangor battled to the double-overtime tie.

Jessica Paul stopped all 10 shots in net for Old Town, and Alex Waring turned back all eight she faced for John Bapst.

Dexter 7, Piscataquis 1

At Dexter, Erika Haiko scored two goals to pace a balanced attack as the Tigers improved to 12-0.

Courtney McCormick scored one goal and assisted on three, further extending the school season assists record to 19. Kristy Veazie, who had two assists, has 18 this fall.

Karen Nelson, Melissa Doody, Keriann Patterson and Sarah Wyman netted one goal apiece for Dexter. Cindy Koscielny made two saves on four shots.

Tedianne Galuski scored the goal for 9-2-1 Piscataquis of Guilford. Caterina Riitano amassed 20 saves on 29 shots.

At Corinth, Katie Ahearn scored three first-half goals and added an assist to power the Red Devils to victory.

Heather Lyford notched a goal and an assist for 7-3-2 Central, while Jody Harvey and Lisa Brown scored one goal each. Jenny Rollins, Shawna Bell, Casey Davis and Kristen Connolly chipped in with assists. Cindy Dehm made one save on one shot.
