Speakers announced for business breakfasts

PRESQUE ISLE – Business Associates Breakfasts will be held at 7:30 a.m. at the University of Maine at Presque Isle in the Campus Center. The guest speakers will be:

. On Tuesday, Oct. 23, Dr. Geoffrey Gratwick, head of rheumatology, Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor and chairman-elect, Maine Humanities Council, will speak on “Humanities at the Heart of Health Care”.

. On Tuesday, Nov. 13, Peter Geiger, of Geiger Brothers in Lewiston, manufacturer of promotional products and publisher of the Farmers’ Almanac will speak on “Business and K-12 Education: A Partnership.”

. On Tuesday, Dec. 11, Donald L. McDowell, former president of MaineHealth and Maine Medical Center and interim chancellor, University of Maine System, will speak on “Managing the Health Care Crisis.”
