GREENE – Authorities continue to investigate an accident that killed a Norway man.

Lawrence J. Michaud, 28, was killed Tuesday when his Dodge Shadow was crushed by a dump truck at the intersection of Route 202 and Allen Pond Road, according to the Androscoggin Sheriff’s Department.

Witnesses said the dump truck crashed into the car after it was rear-ended by a flatbed truck hauling concrete cinder blocks.

The flatbed truck flipped in the road.

Investigators from the sheriff’s department and Maine State Police remained at the scene until after nightfall Tuesday.
